Job Title: Admissions Counselor/Executive for MBA Program
Job Summary:
The Admissions Counselor/Executive will be responsible for managing and enhancing the MBA admissions process, providing guidance to prospective students, and ensuring a seamless experience from inquiry to enrollment. Additionally, the role involves managing client interactions, capturing video content, and collecting essential data from management to hand over to the technical team. The ideal candidate should have excellent communication skills, a strong understanding of MBA programs, and the ability to build relationships with students and stakeholders to meet admission targets.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Student Counseling and Guidance:
• Provide detailed information about the MBA program, curriculum, admission criteria, and career outcomes to prospective students.
• Counsel and guide students through the application process, including eligibility criteria, required documentation, and deadlines.
2. Client Management:
• Act as the primary point of contact for all client interactions.
• Maintain professional relationships with clients to ensure their queries and concerns are addressed promptly.
• Regularly update clients about admission-related processes and developments.
3. Lead Generation and Conversion:
• Handle inquiries via email, phone, and walk-ins, and respond promptly to ensure high conversion rates.
• Generate leads through various marketing activities such as seminars, webinars, social media campaigns, and outreach programs.
4. Application Processing:
• Assist applicants with the completion and submission of their MBA application forms.
• Ensure all required documents (academic transcripts, recommendation letters, SOPs, etc.) are collected and verified.
5. Admissions Coordination:
• Collaborate with the academic and administrative teams to schedule admission interviews, entrance tests, and group discussions.
• Keep applicants informed of their application status and next steps in the admissions process.
6. Data Collection and Collaboration:
• Capture videos for promotional and documentation purposes as needed.
• Collect and organize essential data from the management team to ensure smooth coordination.
• Handover all collected data and client requirements to the technical team for further action.
7. Data Management:
• Maintain accurate records of inquiries, applications, and enrollment numbers in the CRM system.
• Prepare weekly and monthly reports to track admission progress and outcomes.
8. Marketing and Outreach:
• Participate in MBA fairs, education expos, and other promotional events to attract potential applicants.
• Build relationships with colleges, universities, and coaching centers to establish a strong network for prospective MBA students.
9. Post-Admission Support:
• Provide orientation and onboarding support for newly admitted students.
• Address any queries or concerns related to the program, fees, or academic schedules.
Key Requirements:
• Educational Qualification:
• Bachelor’s degree (MBA or relevant master’s degree is a plus).
• Experience:
• 1–3 years of experience in admissions, student counseling, or a related field.
• Experience in handling MBA or higher education admissions is preferred.
• Skills:
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
• Knowledge of CRM tools and MS Office.
• Familiarity with MBA program structures and trends in higher education.
• Ability to capture and organize video content effectively.
